This week we used the concept of Perspective to explore how different colours can be used to express emotions and that different people might associate different colours with different emotions. For example, red means angry to some and love to others. We read 'The Colour Monster' book which helped us understand about sorting emotions and colours. Then we had a go by ourselves with lots of emotions words and 6 colours. Next we compared with a friend to see their perspective and to explain our own perspective. We learned how to mix primary colours to make secondary colours and then drew some different emotion faces and wrote some words to match with the colours. Next week we will use this knowledge to make some different emotion portraits.
