Our first experience doing a Bus Stop activity to collect and record data from our home surveys on how we've grown.
You can be anything when you dress up. A princess, an evil witch, a monster, a hero, a mystical creature.... and then the stories just follow. imagination is a powerful thing that makes us so creative. There were some spontaneous performances today :)
We tuned into our first unit of inquiry through a popcorn making activity. It was aimed at exploring and employing our five senses. And how we did!
We are inquiring into imagination, , how we can use our imagination to see things differently and the value of imagination. We will explore the concepts of Function, Perspective and Reflection. We will use Imagery and expression throughout this unit of inquiry.
We tuned into this unit by reading a book, Not a Stick by Antoinette Portis.
We then took a piece of paper and created our own imaginary things. Really, It's not just paper.....
