In our first unit of inquiry we will inquire into how we use our senses to explore the world around us.
We tuned into our unit by making popcorn in class and used it as provocation to formulate our questions.
We brainstormed on a sensory chart... Looks like, smells like, tastes like, feels like and sounds like.
Students identified what they wanted to know and asked compelling and relevant questions we can begin researching.
